How to Contribute
Willamette is for the people, by the people! As a community project, you can help make Willamette better by reporting bugs, providing feedback, and submitting PRs to add features or improve documentation. If you’re a designer and would like to suggest visual improvements or alternative design options, please do so! We invite you to join the effort to make Willamette a great multi-purpose theme for Bridgetown and the indie web.
Visit the Willamette repo on Codeberg to contribute. Codeberg is a Git forge alternative to GitHub or GitLab, based on the open source Forgejo software. It’s easy to create a new account and then you can use it just as you would any Git forge you may be familiar with.
All contributors are expected to adhere to the Code of Conduct, and additionally we ask that you abide by the Bridgetown policy of all-human contributions (aka no AI-generated code or slop assets will be accepted).
Your donations are also gladly welcomed, and support the ongoing evolution and maintenance of the Willamette project.
